Ndk’s activity sustains equilibrium between the concentrations of various nucleoside triphosphates for example, when GTP is produced in the citric acid (Krebs) cycle is converted to ATP. Ndk has a key role in the synthesis of nucleoside triphosphates other than ATP. |
